This is an engine crankshaft position sensor for 4-cylinder Ford Escape, Fusion and Transit Connect, Lincoln MKZ and Mercury Mariner and Milan models. It tells the engine computer the crankshaft position and speed for spark and fuel timing. A failing sensor often causes a crank but no start, stalling, rough running or a check engine light.
