This is an engine crankshaft position sensor for V6 and V8 Ford and Mercury vans, trucks and cars from 1993 to 2010. It tells the engine computer the crankshaft position and speed for spark and fuel timing. A failing sensor often causes a crank but no start, stalling, rough running or a check engine light.
