A throttle position sensor (TPS) for Lexus and Toyota 4-cylinder and V6 engines. It tells the engine computer how far the throttle is open so it can set fuel and shift points. A failing TPS often causes a check engine light, rough or high idle, hesitation, stalling or erratic shifting.
