A throttle position sensor (TPS) with a 3-blade plug for Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and Mitsubishi trucks and SUVs. It tells the engine computer how far the throttle is open so it can set fuel and shift points. A failing TPS often causes a check engine light, rough or high idle, hesitation, stalling or erratic shifting.
