A 2-pin transmission output shaft speed sensor for Ford, Lincoln and Mercury cars, trucks and vans with automatic transmissions. It tells the computer how fast the output shaft is turning for shifting and the speedometer. A failing speed sensor often causes harsh or erratic shifting, a speedometer that stops working or a check engine light.
